Regina Muldoon, Integrated Planning Director, celebrates 15 years at Harmelin Media this May. To celebrate this milestone, we sat down with her to ask her thoughts on the ever-changing landscape of the media industry and to get to know her better.

What are some of the notable changes you have seen in the industry since you started at Harmelin?
The media planning and buying industry has undergone a significant transformation since starting at Harmelin in 2010, primarily due to advancements in technology. A major change is the increased shift in digital and programmatic advertising as opposed to traditional media. The growth in connected TV and streaming has dramatically changed the video landscape as well, bringing more targeted solutions to media placement.
What has been your greatest success at Harmelin?
Over the past 15 years at Harmelin Media, one of my greatest successes has been my strong relationships with coworkers, clients, and vendors that are based on trust and teamwork. These connections have not only helped me grow in my career, but have also carried into my personal life, creating lasting connections and a strong professional network.
Where do you see the industry in the next 1 year, 5 years, 10 years?
AI has been a huge topic of discussion across all industries, but also specifically regarding advertising opportunities. Over the next year, AI and automation will improve media buying, while cookie-less targeting and retail media networks will continue to grow. In five years, ads will become even more personalized, with AR/VR experiences and AI at the forefront to further customize audience engagement. By 10 years, AI will dominate how we create, view, and interact with daily experiences seamlessly.
What is the one thing you can’t live without?
I should say my kids for this question, but I always tell people if I’m stuck on an island and can bring one thing – I am bringing my eyelash curler!
Where is your favorite place to be?
At a park, hiking with my family! I love the ease of just being outside with no distractions, surrounded by nature and the ones I love!
Who has inspired you in your life and why?
My kids are my biggest inspiration. Every day I am learning from them – how to be more patient, kind, loving, present, etc. As much as I am their teacher in life, they are teachers to me, and I am forever thankful to them for giving me the privilege of being their mother.
Cyndi Graiff, Senior Integrated Planning Director, has worked with Regina since the beginning and says: “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Regina since she first began her journey at Harmelin as an intern. From those early days, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with her on multiple clients and witness her growth throughout her professional career. Regina has an innate ability to understand account structure to maintain organization and momentum – something that has been instrumental in the success of several of our accounts. Beyond her professional development, I’ve also had the privilege of seeing Regina grow personally and learning how to balance the demands of work and family with grace and resilience. Her growth has been inspiring to watch, and I look forward to seeing what she accomplishes next.”
Breanna Norton, Integrated Planning Director, shares: “Congratulations to Regina! Her incredible organization, positive spirit, and unwavering dedication – both at work and as a mom – make her truly inspiring. She is committed to her team, to Harmelin, and to herself, and she is constantly striving to improve herself and her abilities. Harmelin is lucky to have her, as she has so much to offer at the agency. It is a joy to work alongside her!”
Gail McLane, Senior Director, also adds: “Congratulations to Regina on her anniversary! Regina interned for our team 16 years ago – when we had an opening on our team, we immediately called her. Working side by side with her for the next ten years over multiple clients and accounts, I watched her flourish professionally. Her organization and ability to juggle multiple projects is nothing short of impressive! I am lucky to call Regina both a co-worker and a friend.”
Congratulations, Regina! Thank you for your 15 years of commitment to Harmelin and our clients.
