Harmelin Media Promotes Brad Rizza to Vice PresidentPhiladelphia, PA – Brad Rizza has been promoted to Vice President at Harmelin Media, announced Mary Meder, President of the Philadelphia-based media agency. Brad joined Harmelin in 2019 to provide leadership for the company’s paid social practice, which has grown to 15 people under his watch.

Prior to joining Harmelin, Brad spent six years as Vice President/Director at Beekeeper Group, a Washington, DC-based digital communications agency. At Beekeeper Group, he worked with corporate, association, and nonprofit clients to develop and execute integrated digital campaigns.

Before Beekeeper Group, Brad led communications strategies for higher education clients at Widmeyer Communication/FINN Partners, worked on social and digital solutions for clients at Pappas Group/DMI, and ran online marketing programs at EyeTraffic Media. Brad also spent time in new program marketing at Discovery Communications, sponsorship activation at Activ8Social and fundraising at Kieloch Consulting. While in DC, Brad was the Communications Chair for the DC Ad Club’s young professionals group and was a teaching assistant at Georgetown University’s Digital Media Management capstone program in the School of Continuing Studies. Brad has a bachelor’s degree in Public Communication and Marketing from American University.

“Brad’s professionalism, work ethic and careful approach to the many challenges we’ve faced make him a huge asset to the company,” says Executive VP and CRO Scott Davis. “Brad sets a clear vision for our success in paid social, develops the people on the team, and provides best-in-class team management. He created a subject matter expert program for social that has been replicated in our other digital activation departments. He has led Harmelin through the challenges brought about by Apple’s iOS privacy changes, adeptly communicating both internally and to our clients at a time when there was so much industry uncertainty about the impact of these changes. Brad has always kept himself and his team up to speed on the social industry, which has not stood still, and probably never will.”
